No one who served,
struggled, or sacrificed
should face it alone.
Heaven-Sent Community Services and Celestial Contractors work as one team — the nonprofit fights for the person, the contractor fixes the property. Together we deliver priority service, gap funding, VA benefits navigation, and long-term recovery for veterans, seniors, and people with disabilities across Osceola, Orange, and Seminole Counties.
Built for the people the system most often leaves behind.
Heaven-Sent serves veterans of all eras, seniors on fixed incomes, people with disabilities, spouses, caregivers, and families in crisis. Celestial Contractors delivers the physical work that brings their properties back to safe, livable condition — at prices that don't wipe out their savings.
🎖 Veterans & Military Families
All eras, all branches. VA benefits navigation, peer support from people who've walked the same road, housing stability, and priority contractor service. Led by a Navy veteran with 25+ years and 144 national disaster deployments.
👴 Seniors on Fixed Income
Property repairs and storm damage shouldn't mean choosing between the mortgage and food. Heaven-Sent connects seniors to emergency assistance while Celestial provides priority service at transparent written pricing.
♿ People with Disabilities
ADA-compliant repairs and patient, adapted interactions. Our founder lives with Asperger's and ADHD — we don't just say we understand disability, we walk it daily. Every interaction is adapted to the person, not the other way around.
👨👩👧 Spouses & Caregivers
Caregivers carry invisible weight. Heaven-Sent's family support programs provide caregiver coaching, respite connections, and benefits navigation so the people holding everyone else up don't carry it entirely alone.
🏠 RV, Trailer & Manufactured Home Residents
We don't turn people away because of how their home is classified. Florida may call it a residence, but the federal system often doesn't. We know that gap firsthand — and we show up anyway.
📋 Families the System Missed
FEMA denied you. Insurance wasn't enough. Rebuild Florida said you weren't eligible. You fell through a gap between two definitions. That's exactly who Heaven-Sent exists for — and it's personal, because we've been there ourselves.
To provide integrated, trauma-informed services that empower veterans and their families.
In the heart of Osceola County, where countless veterans have returned home seeking peace after the storms of service, the absence of a dedicated Veterans Service Center is more than a gap — it's a calling left unanswered. Heaven-Sent envisions a center where faith and service meet, where those who wore the uniform find restoration of spirit, mind, and body.
Although the VA is only a short drive away, so many brothers and sisters still fall through the cracks. Essential needs like dental care, eyeglasses, and daily support go unmet. The system lacks the personal, heartfelt connection that only fellow veterans and faith-based care can provide.

Heaven-Sent Community Services and Veterans Assistance operates these programs from Kissimmee, FL, coordinated through the Florida headquarters and extending to chapters in Pennsylvania, Mississippi, and Alabama. All programs are free to qualifying veterans, seniors, and disabled individuals.
Veterans Assistance & Peer Support
Peer mentoring from people who understand military culture — not civilians pointing at pamphlets. VA benefits navigation, one-on-one coaching, and community led by MSG Darrell Whited (Ret.).
- VA claims & benefits assistance coaching
- Darrell's VA Coaching Room — direct veteran support
- Alumni Peer Mentor Program
- Veteran family & caregiver support
- Veterans Service Center — Kissimmee (in development)
Housing Stabilization & Homelessness Prevention
Many veterans and seniors are one crisis away from losing their home. We work the gap between agencies while the paperwork catches up — and we fight to keep people housed.
- Rapid rehousing & move-in cost support
- Rental counseling & eviction prevention
- SSVF program referrals & utility assistance
- "Safe Harbor" tiny-home community (in development)
Disabilities Support & Family Respite
Seniors and people with disabilities carry quiet battles — medication costs, transportation, isolation, housing stress — that most people never see. We walk patiently at each person's pace.
- Benefits, Medicaid/Medicare & application support
- Family caregiver coaching & burnout prevention
- IEP & 504 advocacy for special-needs children
- Respite-style support & regular check-ins
Counseling, Peer-to-Peer & Recovery
You don't have to battle addiction, trauma, or isolation alone. Safe, confidential peer groups and one-on-one support with people who genuinely understand the road you've been on.
- Peer-to-peer groups (veteran, caregiver, general)
- Substance abuse & recovery pathway referrals
- PTSD & mental health referral coordination
- Prayer, pastoral care & spiritual support (optional)
Healthcare Navigation & Wellness
The VA is close but the paperwork is impossible. Dental, eyeglasses, chronic disease management — too many veterans go without what they've already earned because no one walked them through the door.
- VA healthcare enrollment guidance
- Mental health & PTSD treatment referrals
- Crisis intervention with Veteran Crisis Line integration
- Chronic disease management & home health links
Workforce, Vocational & Financial Stability
Stability isn't just surviving the crisis — it's having a future. We connect people to work, purpose, and financial structure so they can rebuild, not just recover.
- Vocational school & skills training pathways
- Resume development & job placement support
- Money, bills & benefits stabilization coaching
- Celestial Contractors job training pipeline
One call reaches both organizations. That's the point.
Most contractors show up for the job and leave. Most nonprofits do the paperwork and leave. We built a structure where both happen at the same time — so a veteran calling about a damaged roof doesn't have to make a separate call to figure out how to pay for it.
You reach out once
One call to (407) 279-0520 or (717) 623-0164 reaches both teams. We triage together — who needs property work, who needs benefits navigation, who needs both.
Celestial Contractors assesses the property
A crew lead visits, documents everything with photos, and delivers a written estimate with priority scheduling for qualifying veterans, seniors, and disabled clients.
Heaven-Sent works the funding gap
Simultaneously, a caseworker helps you navigate FEMA, VA disaster benefits, insurance claims, and any grant or foundation funding that could close the gap between what you owe and what you can afford.
Work gets done. Recovery continues.
Celestial completes the physical repair. Heaven-Sent stays connected through ongoing case management and peer support — not just until the paint dries, but until the family is actually stable.
By the numbers — what this delivers
We had been telling people for years that the system has gaps. Then Hurricane Ian proved it to us personally. Our RV — our home — took major roof damage. We registered with FEMA. We applied to Rebuild Florida. We were told help was coming.
FEMA paid $5,000. The roof repair cost $21,100. Rebuild Florida told us we weren't eligible — because at the federal level, an RV is a recreational vehicle, not a residence. Florida says it's a home. The federal program says it's not. In that gap between two definitions, families like ours are left with nothing.
I'm not angry. I'm building. Because if I — with 25 years of disaster relief, every contact and connection — still fell through the cracks, think about what happens to the veteran who doesn't know who to call. The senior who can't navigate the forms. The disabled individual who can't advocate for themselves in a system never designed with them in mind.
Heaven-Sent and Celestial Contractors exist so that gap closes — one family at a time.
U.S. Navy Veteran · 25+ Years Disaster Relief · 144 National Operations
We built a nonprofit and a contractor together because one alone isn't enough.
The physical repair and the funding gap are two separate problems. Most organizations only solve one. We solve both — because we've lived what happens when only one side shows up.
⚠ The Classification Trap — still unfixed
Florida classifies a permanently-stationed RV as a primary residence. The federal government classifies it as a recreational vehicle. Thousands of Florida families — mostly veterans, seniors, and fixed-income residents — fall into this gap every storm season. Heaven-Sent's gap funding program exists specifically to bridge it.
Know what you're entitled to. Let us help you get it.
Heaven-Sent caseworkers help veterans, seniors, and disabled individuals understand and apply for the programs they've earned — not just hand them a website and wish them luck. These are the key programs we navigate every day.
🎖 VA Benefits & Claims
Disability compensation, pension, caregiver support, home modification grants, and healthcare enrollment. Many veterans are entitled to benefits they never received because no one walked them through.
VA Coaching Room🏠 HUD/CoC & SSVF Housing
Supportive Services for Veteran Families, rapid rehousing, coordinated entry, and CoC-aligned services. Heaven-Sent coordinates with the Continuum of Care serving Osceola, Orange, and Seminole Counties.
Safe Harbor Housing Plan🌀 FEMA & Disaster Assistance
FEMA Individual Assistance registration, damage documentation, and appeals assistance when initial decisions don't reflect actual need. We know where the gaps are because we've fallen into them.
Disaster Relief Program💊 Medicare, Medicaid & SSA
Social Security Disability, SSI, Medicare enrollment, Medicaid applications, and Extra Help for prescriptions. Seniors and disabled individuals often leave thousands in untapped entitlements on the table.
Benefits Stabilization SOP💰 Foundation & Gap Funding
When government programs don't cover the full cost — and they often don't — Heaven-Sent pursues foundation grants, in-kind donations, and community fundraising to bridge the gap for qualifying clients.
